An excerpt from my Book currently being written… The World According to Freddy… to be released very soon… Stay tuned.
It was a frosty winter’s morning when I hooked a friend’s horse float to my car. I was on my way to collect a horse named Blondie. He was called this by his owner because he had a blonde mane. I would later change his name to Freddy.
I had found Freddy’s advertisement on a website about six months prior when I was at work in Newcastle. I remembered scrolling through the site trying to find the perfect dressage horse for free. I had narrowed it down to two choices; A Chestnut in Nerang Queensland and a Grey in Tenterfield New South Wales. It was a tough choice at the time.
I often wonder what life would have been like if I had chosen the grey.
